Share it on WhatsApp

No app to install. Send a reel to TruSauce on WhatsApp, get the place back, and a few days later tap one button to say if it delivered — all in the chat.

  1. Tap Save reels by WhatsApp and send the message that’s typed in for you. That connects WhatsApp to your list.
  2. In Instagram, tap Share on any reel → WhatsApp → TruSauce → Send.
  3. TruSauce replies with the place. Send LIST any time for a link to your list.

TruSauce only reads what you send to its chat. Send STOP to turn off reminders, or DELETE MY DATA to erase everything.

Copy the link

Nothing to install or configure. Two taps in Instagram, one in TruSauce.

Open TruSauce
  1. In Instagram, tap Share on a reel → Copy link.
  2. Open TruSauce (add it to your Home Screen from Safari’s Share menu so it’s one tap away).
  3. Tap Paste and save, then Paste when your iPhone asks.

Install the app

TruSauce installs from Chrome like a regular app — no Play Store — and then shows up in Instagram’s share sheet.

  1. Open https://trusauce.ae in Chrome on your phone.
  2. Tap the Install TruSauce button on this page, or Chrome’s ⋮ menu → Install app.
  3. In Instagram, tap Share on any reel and choose TruSauce. If you don’t see it, scroll the app row or tap More.

If Chrome says it’s installing but no app appears in your app drawer, restart the phone and install again. Android’s installer occasionally gets stuck until a reboot.

Add the Shortcut

Apple doesn’t let websites appear in the iPhone share sheet. A Shortcut can — so TruSauce uses one, built with Apple’s own Shortcuts app.

First, add TruSauce to your Home Screen (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen) and open this page from there. That’s where your list and your “did it deliver?” reminders live.

The key lets the Shortcut add Recs to your list — nothing else. It’s shown once; getting a new one switches off the old one.

  1. Tap Add “Save to TruSauce”. When Shortcuts asks for your key, paste it.
  2. In Instagram, tap Share on a reel → scroll the app row → More → Edit, and switch on Save to TruSauce.
  3. Share any reel to it. You’ll get a “Saved to TruSauce” notification, and it’s in your list.
  1. Get your key with the button on this page and copy it.
  2. Open the Shortcuts app, tap +, and name the shortcut Save to TruSauce.
  3. Add Get Contents of URL: URL https://trusauce.ae/ingest, Method POST. Headers: Content-Type = application/json and Authorization = Bearer followed by a space and your key. Request Body JSON: field text = Shortcut Input.
  4. Add Get Dictionary Value for key message, then Show Notification with that value.
  5. Open the shortcut’s settings (ⓘ), turn on Show in Share Sheet, and allow URLs and Text.
  6. In Instagram: Share → More → Edit, and switch on Save to TruSauce.

The Shortcut only sends the link you share. It can’t read anything else on your phone.

Just paste

On a laptop, or anywhere you’d rather not set anything up: copy the reel’s link and paste it into the lookup page.

Save a Rec
  1. In Instagram, tap Share → Copy link. On YouTube, Share → Copy.
  2. Paste it at https://trusauce.ae/app and press Save it.

Instagram DMs

Message the bot

Forward a reel to @trusauced or tag us in a comment on any post and get the place back as a reply — no setup at all.

  1. Tap Connect Instagram — it copies a code and opens a DM to @trusauced.
  2. Paste the code and send it. That connects Instagram to your list.
  3. In Instagram, tap Share on any reel → Send to → @trusauced, or tag @trusauced in a comment on any post.
  4. TruSauce replies with the place. Send LIST any time for a link to your list.
